METSV says: Good grief but does this eyeliner from Blinc stay PUT. I am not kidding… Let me back up a sec… I am not usually a big fan of liquid eyeliners – this is because they don’t normally play nice with me. They smudge, wear off, I can’t get a thin enough line…so I end up tossing them in the bottom drawer graveyard of unloved beauty products. Blinc has changed my mind – this eyeliner (I’m reviewing the Dark Blue) is super simple to use – from its teeny little slim brush to the way it goes on to the way it stays, it just is awesome. Applying is a breeze, then once its dried, sometimes I’ll smudge over it with a powder to give my eyes a soft, smoky, stay all day look. Or I’ll just wear it on its own; lining my upper eye and lower eye for a bit of drama and wearing a light eyeshadow so the blue stands out. The thinness of the line I get is unmatched! I’ve never been able to get a line so thin before – the way it wears is incredible – it actually stayed on while I was painting my room – in 90-something degree weather, I was sweating like you wouldn’t believe – but I am not kidding when I tell you that this not only stayed on but didn’t smudge one bit. How do you not love something that good? Another winner from the experts at Blinc.
Makeup Addict says — sorry, Maria, I doubted you!! That is until I tried my Black Blinc Liquid Eyeliner. I have never been an eyeliner fan — I cannot get a straight line!!! Until now – that is!! I did not think the container could make a difference – or even the brush. I thought it was all my hands — but I was wrong! Blinc Liquid Eyeliner makes a huge difference — I can wear eye liner and it looks terrific!! Who woulda thought it wasn’t all me???? I actually got this one in one little swoop and it looked like I have been doing it for years. I actually got brave and went over the line for a little more definition as I went out at night and it looked glorious!! As Maria said — it stays and stays! I am an eye rubber and I tried hard to remember not to rub but I caught myself a couple of times and rushed in to look at the damage — and I was fine!!!! Blinc, where have you been? Why haven’t I found you before? No matter, now that I have found you — I will never let you go!!!!!!
Lilmissashley says…Okay, I have tried many many eyeliners in the past. There were a few aspects about this eyeliner that are different from the ones I have tried. First, I typically use black pencil eyeliner. What I like about pencil eyeliner ( in comparison to liquid eyeliner) is that I like to smudge the liner a bit to get more of a slight smoky eye look. I find with liquid eyeliners this is often hard to do because I end up getting the liner all over my face. HOWEVER, with this product- different story. The liquid eyeliner itself allowed me to smudge it just a small bit ( without getting it all over my face) before it dried. When it did dry… the product stayed put!! Okay, so I put this product to the test this past week. I take public transportation to work ( urgh) and it was raining a lot this week in Boston. After running through the rain ( the wind did some serious damage to my umbrella), I thought to myself, I can only imagine what my make up looks like right now. When I got into my office, I opened my pocket mirror to find that my eyeliner did NOT smudge…and I am talking some serious rain!! When I did want to take off the eyeliner at night, I simply used a tissue and rubbed it a few times against my lids. As Makeup Addict notes, just simply rubbing your eyes won’t do any damage though. I had this color in the “grey” shade. I must mention that I typically wear eyeliners in black, this color made me want to change my ways! The grey color looked marvelous and I really enjoyed the shade. The color still brought attention to my eyes and I must say that it was a bit darker than I previously anticipated. I must also say that the liner was VERY easy to apply to your eyes and the brush drew a straight line. Great product and I can’t wait to try out other products from this line.
METSV says: Okay, me chiming in again to chirp about the medium brown..not too light, not too dark, just the perfect shade of brown that can take me from day to night. During the day, I’ll smudge over it with a soft brown shadow and it really makes my ol’ blues pop – this is new for me as browns have ALWAYS made me look tired in the past so Ive shied away from them, but I don’t know if it’s the shade or the intensity but this is one of the only browns that has worked for me. I love pairing it with a soft peach or champagne shadow. At night I’ve smudged a very dark , dark gray shadow around my eyes, then added the brown eyeliner – it is such a cool nighttime look – and it stayed ALL night through dinner, dancing, and even sweating. I must get my hands on the grey now – then I’ll be in eyeliner heaven. Best eyeliners on the planet in my opinion!
