METSV says: So I was fortunate enough to receive the trial pack of Dr. Jart’s BB creams – the set had four generous travel sized tubes of the BB Creams so I’ll review them one at a time here. Starting with… the Premium BB Cream. That’s the one I went to first – for no particular reason, maybe the gold packaging and word “premium” intrigued me? It truly is a one stop shop. My skin feels flawless with this on. Incredibly light weight, glow inducing, tone evening, soft skin, sun protection – everything you want in a BB cream. My only hiccup here is the shade. I am on the yellow side of neutral so anytime I use a BB cream, especially one that has a high SPF, I need something with more of a yellow untertone or else I tend to look ashy. Now with Dr. Jart’s, I didn’t get full out ashy – but I was a little too “off” in my face to my neck. So after trying this on it’s own and just using a yellow-based very light loose powder over it, I tried adding just a smidge of yellow correcting cream and voila – no more ashy look – just a perfect neutral. I think what makes this “premium” is the additional skin support ingredients that are in here – ingredients to even out skintone and give skin luminosity and blur the not so great parts that you want blurred! I never look made up which is great. I’m not a huge fan of foundation and like to look as natural as possible. Dr. Jart allows me to do that. So… one down, three to go… and The Premium Balm gets a thumbs up! Stay tuned! 🙂
