Makeup Addict let my skin dry out in order to try AmLactin Unscented Moisturizing Body Lotion on my skin. AmLactin Unscented Moisturizing Body Lotion is a white (almost pearly) lotion that glides on and is absorbed very quickly. I wanted to check the exfoliation abilities so I really paid attention to those areas I could actually see the dried, cracked skin. Well, after applying the AmLactin Unscented Moisturizing Body Lotion to those areas I waited until I was ready to apply to the second treatment for the day and I felt those areas before applying. They were evenly smooth and soft – there were no areas left where they had been cracked or peeling. I rubbed the skin so that any dead skin would come off – but evidently AmLactin Unscented Moisturizing Body Lotion really did its job as there was no dead skin to remove. So this lotion really hydrates the skin, leaving only fresh new hydrated skin that is evenly silky smooth. Another bonus to this lotion is that it is unscented. I prefer fragrance-free products as many that are on the market have fragrances that I, personally, do not care for – or fragrances that are too strong and they fight with my fragrance choice of the day. They have sunburn warnings on their products to limit your time in the sun when wearing their products and even for a week after using them. I, for one, am glad they give us advance notice of the sunburn alert as it is better to know before staying out in the sun for any time with the lotion on without protection. I want to say that I am thrilled with the results I got with AmLactin Unscented Moisturizing Body Lotion. My only problem with AmLactin Moisturizing Products is choosing which one to use each day as each of them is excellent. Please note that as of the day I am reviewing AmLactin Unscented Moisturizing Body Lotion it ison sale at Target – I am not sure how long this sale is on for.
Miss Style Apothecary says.. I also got to try out AmLactin’s body lotion too.. What I noticed straight away was the thin consistency.. I felt like it was more of a facial lotion.. I couldn’t believe it.. I was skeptical that I would get the hydration that I needed.. I found that applying while still almost damp out of the shower worked the best for me.. I applied pretty generously, not heavy though.. It really goes on quick and feels like it disappears into my skin. My skin does feel moisturized and soft but no residue was left behind, no oiliness, greasy, lubed up feeling was present.. I LOVE this stuff, I can apply pretty much right before getting dressed and there isn’t a trace on my clothing or my skin.. HELLO!! This makes it so worth trying.. I got a small bottle of this and really maybe 4 applications out of it.. I applied to my legs and arms mostly so I didn’t begin to notice the exfoliation qualities.. I did get a nice hydration that felt like it lasted for the entire day and my skin felt comfortable, none of the itching and flaking was present.. Well, not that I think of it, the flaking was greatly reduced so it did help to slough away all of my dead skin..
