METSV says:  Here’s a sure fire way to beat the pasty winter skin blues!  Vita Liberata gives us a great self tanner that’s goof proof and really has a lovely color payoff AND without the nasty tell-tale self tanner smell.    Though the cold weather has made its way to New England, I like to keep color on my arms and legs as I am a performer and there’s something about having a golden glow that makes my skin just look better…and oddly enough, having color makes me look thinner, so yes I’ll take a vat of this please.   For reference I’m an NC20 so I’m pretty fair – but was given the medium to try so I went lightly just in case I made a mess.  I followed the directions exactly and did use a tanning mitt.  The product itself is so very light, very easy to work into my skin and dried in no time at all.  I love how I had an instant bronzing guide so I knew what I was doing.  I was very careful around my knees and ankles and though it didn’t say to, I did use a little body cream in those areas to make sure I really got them massaged in.    The color developed into a gold-bronze – no oompa loompa effect and within a couple of days I have a nice healthy color.  I would say on me, the color lasts about a week – which is fine because I’ll use it the week I am performing and it works out great.   I do always have to use some kind of moisture though after self-tanning.  My skin is very dry and even more so this time of year, but it hasn’t seemed to effect the color pay off.  If anything, I think my arms and legs look better with the added hydration.  If you’re looking for a really nice self tanner to take you through the winter and beyond, Vita Liberata is a great one to get hooked on.
