A skin-warming mask that purifies and clarifies the skin. Somme Institute Boost Warming Mask
METSV says: Masks are my favorite spa-at-home indulgences. I love them – I have them in moisturizing, brightening, lifting, you name it. I try to do masks a couple of times a week. I’ve been using Somme’s Boost the past few times because I have been happy with the results – especially this weekend. I had been painting all weekend and definitely not getting as much water as I should and I face just looked blah, tired, drawn and crappy. I spritz my face with some light thermal water and then apply the mask. Love the smell of this – very pumpkin-y, spicy… nothing overpowering, just a great scent. I keep it on for a bit and massage it in; I definitely feel my face warming up – like I’m getting a really good exfoliation- then I rinse with a baby washcloth. My skin regains clarity and brightness and looks healthy again – just like it’s called – I feel like my face gets a boost. My cheeks get rosy and I have better color to my skin. I know Somme recommends that you use the mask as part of the five step program for best results (I have used their serum in the past and it is lovely) but I have to say, I’m still getting good results with the mask on its own. Using Boost just got me thinking that I’m going to have to revisit Somme and reorder some products. It’s such a good skincare line – not a lot of ingredients we don’t need. Just an excellent delivery system, effective, reasonably priced products.
