Michael Van Clarke, creator of the 3 More Inches Haircare brings us a couple of his looks from the Designer Wedding Show 2011…
Bridal Classic Couture
Classic Couture looks are having a revival on the catwalks and for brides in 2011. Heavily influenced by the sophisticated elegance of the 50’ & 60’s, hair will be more structured but with a softer modern finish. Moving away from the relaxed looks of the past few seasons, the brides’ own photographic images become timeless.
• The Screen Goddess is perfect for brides with long hair who want to keep it simple – the loose flowing soft curls are a red carpet favourite.
Hints & Tips
The bride’s overall look is influenced by the dress and wedding theme. The hair and make-up should compliment and reflect her personality to ensure she feels comfortable, but also allow her to release her inner red carpet goddess.
By experimenting with hairpieces, extensions or hair ornaments the bride can add volume, drama and glamour.
In the 3 months prior to the wedding regular salon hair treatments every month backed up by weekly treatments at home will ensure the bride’s hair is in tip-top condition.
Hair should be cut and coloured two weeks before the wedding. It is unwise to make major colour changes just before the wedding; a simple colour gloss or semi-permanent colour can add tone, depth and shine.
& of course be sure and add 3 More Inches into your regimen to for longer, healither & fuller locks!
